Nothing special just kept trying as the day passed by. Maybe a glitch that fixed itself or something. I was doing some quests every once in a while but I believe that's not a requirement.

Yup, getting 6 points per level up before and double checked it again and that's done.

It is max level for days, got almost max zen too. I also tried both Crywolf and Arkania's Priest Devin but still wouldn't let me proceed. Tried doing more quests but still same result.
