unair 5 Posted February 7 Hello, is there a possibility to make Rudolf HP ignore damage from other players? Some players they PVP only to kill Rudolf or they on purpose try to kill him when they see you alone on the spot without even trying before to see if /ap is on. It would be nice if Rudolf takes damage only from mobs and not from players as well as there is no point to register damage from players. This is not an offensive/defensive/support pet. It is strictly a PVE assistance pet, that's all. I get it if it takes damage and it dies from mobs attacks, but from player attacks it is a waste to loose it. Thanks. wrecked 172 Posted February 7 Hello, first stop crying. Second, this is a PVP server, not PVE. Want to farm, buy vip, but there is a chance that i bring boss on viparena, lol.
unair 5 Posted February 7 (edited) You do understand that this is about an in game option that brings no benefit for the PVP environment, yes? It is a PVP server, ok, however Rudolf does not contribute with anything to that and has nothing to do with that. If you say that Angel or Satan bring benefits, yes, I agree with you, because these 2 they are active pets with active benefits for PVP and PVE. However, Rudolf is just a PVE option as a support. Why is it involved in PVP when it brings nothing to PVP. How does this make sense? Besides this, it is an in game mode to evolve because every reset requires Zen so Rudolf helps you achieve the game needs. Why sabotage it with PVP? It makes no sense. This pet is a victim from the start. Edited February 7 by unair
wrecked 172 Posted February 7 Want 1 Rudolf and use it a whole year? 😄 This is not gonna happen, because sometimes people like to make problems to opponents, who is farming and this farmed zen equals in guild buff, that is used for PVP, agree ? 😄 Bad idea as I see it. gohann 47 Posted February 7 not needed - all is good because that maintains marketplace that simple.
unair 5 Posted February 7 Yes, this is the only reason why Rudolf is involved in PVP. Because if it takes damage only from PVE, then there's no need to spend Zen and Cash Points on him that often like it is now. It's a gold digger strategy basically to give it a name. Urmicoll 5 Posted April 11 @unairI like the Rudolf on steroids idea. What about an unkillable Rudolph that as is a difficult to craft as Demon, but that can also pick jewels? Easy
unair 5 Posted April 13 (edited) An alternative it is ok as long as we don't involve the present Rudolf in PVP as it has nothing to do with it. This pet it is strictly PVE. Angel and Satan are both PVE and PVP for instance, but Rudolf is not part of this category. We can say it is an alternative that serves only PVE and it should be immune to PVP damage. Many ppl as you see above enjoy attacking a character just because it has Rudolf equipped in order to kill him and harm the player because it has a market value that maybe they cannot afford or simply just to make evil to others which is why it is stupid to have a completely passive pet involved in PVP. It makes no sense. The way it is now, you or anyone can use Rudolf ONLY in Aida. That's the only place where Rudolf makes sense to use atm.
